Avaya Inc. (NYSE:AV), a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services, today announced that CBTS has been named the 2007 Avaya BusinessPartner of the Year for North America. The award is based on both revenue growth and performance in the sale of Avaya solutions.
A division of Cincinnati Bell (NYSE:CBB), CBTS provides IP telephony-based intelligent communications solutions to businesses. The company is one of more than 1,500 participants in the Avaya BusinessPartner program whose members are value-added resellers and network integrators that sell and service Avaya solutions across North America.
“Through partner companies like CBTS organizations of all sizes can address their most critical business challenges using intelligent communications from Avaya,” said Ken Archer, vice president, North America channels, Avaya. “Customers have flexible choices in how they buy, and world-class support for communications solutions that deliver true value to their bottom line. This year CBTS is the best of the best and has proven itself an invaluable member of our extended sales team.”
During Avaya’s fiscal year 2007, CBTS realized significant year-over-year revenue growth and achieved outstanding customer satisfaction for the sale and implementation of Avaya solutions. The company also launched a new high-profile technology pavilion at the Great American Ball Park, home of the Cincinnati Reds. Built to resemble a riverboat perched above the ballpark, the Pavilion provides a unique space for display of the latest technology, product demonstrations and executive briefings. The Pavilion also houses the Pilot House a year-round conference room with views of the ball park, downtown Cincinnati and the Ohio River. Avaya has agreed to serve as a premier sponsor of a new pavilion, with a permanent kiosk to showcase its industry-leading solutions.
The 2007 Avaya BusinessPartner of the Year award was presented to CBTS during Avaya’s recent Global Sales Conference in Nashville, Tenn.
