NovaLink Solutions now Avaya Compliant

NovaLink, a leading developer of computer telephony integration (CTI) solutions, today announced that its NovaAlert Multifunctional Alert and Communication Server, NovaConf conferencing solution and NovaTax invoicing system are compliant with key IP telephony solutions from Avaya (NYSE:AV), a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services.

The NovaAlert server sends alarm notices, messages and alerts to the appropriate parties by communicating with various systems via a wide range of interfaces. NovaConf enables users to easily set up dial in, dial out and ad hoc conferences and offers both a Web interface and a link to Microsoft Outlook. NovaTax uses call detail records to track call statistics and help companies control costs, reduce customer wait times and operate more efficiently.

NovaLink solutions are modular. That means companies can select the precise solution required, knowing that if their needs change, additional functions or upgrades can be incorporated to protect their investment.

NovaAlert and NovaConf now are compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Communication Manager 4.0 IP telephony software and the Avaya SIP Enablement Server 3.1.2, an open, multipurpose routing platform that allows an enterprise to easily integrate multivendor telephony, collaboration and application services.

NovaTax is compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya IP Office 4.0, an intelligent communications solution especially designed for small and midsized businesses.

One of the many companies benefiting from the interoperability of NovaLink and Avaya solutions is VP Bank Group, one of the largest banks in Liechtenstein. With more than 600 employees, customers in more than 60 countries and assets of CHF 35.5 billion, VP Bank Group needed high-availability emergency alert, unified messaging and telephony cost reporting capabilities that were easy to use and maintain. The company wanted standards-based systems that would have a long lifespan and deliver a positive cost-benefit ratio. VP Bank Group now is using a solution that combines Avaya’s IP telephony software and expertise in planning and installation with NovaLink’s NovaAlert, NovaConf and NovaTax products.

NovaLink is a member of the Avaya DeveloperConnection Program – an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network.

As a Gold member of the program, NovaLink is eligible to submit products for compatibility testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab in Lincroft, N.J. There a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compliant. Doing so ensures businesses can confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure – speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs.
