Mitel today announced Civica Connect, a leading communications and Internet provider to the Local Government sector as a Mitel Systems Integrator.
The agreement will see Civica Connect, the communications and infrastructure arm of the Civica group, who are one of the most experienced providers of consulting, software and managed services for the public sector, work with Mitel as their strategic IP communications partner in the UK.
David Rowlands, director at Civica Connect, said: “We are delighted to have partnered with Mitel, this is a major step forward in our overall strategy. This is a great opportunity for both parties and will enable us to create a new proposition in the market place.”

With a staff of 1,200 and an annual turnover of £125 million, Civica, has grown rapidly due to its aggressive acquisition strategy. Civica supply over 1,500 public organisations in the UK, Australia, Singapore and USA.
